Our history
We got our first leonberger in 2001, and already in 2003 Rua Soleil kennel has been registered. In 2017, I realized my long-term dream - got my first Russian borzoi. Since then, dogs of these two very different, but dearly beloved breeds are living in our family - a combination of aristocrate grace and kind force.
First of all, all our dogs are family members, our children, friends, without whom we cannot imagine our life. But since the results of the breeding work are often judged by the show results of the dogs bred, here are some figures and facts.
For many years, Rua Soleil kennel has been at the top of the Russian National Club rating, won the title of the Best Breeder competition in the Club shows and annual ratings in Russia in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Over the years we have been owners and breeders of:

Our dogs have been many times class winners and prize-winners of the World Winner shows, European Winner, the specialty shows of the German Leonberger Club in Leonberg, Finnish Winners, Europasieger in Dortmund, Germany. Based on the annual show results of dogs born with a kennel prefix, Rua Soleil was listed within the top ten breeders of the Russian Cynological Federation in 2011 (8th place among all breeds)!
We were the first in Russia to test Leonbergers (Gera) for hip dysplasia. Gera (Adelgeida Berta, our first leonberger) also became the first therapy dog to work with children with special requirements. Two of our dogs - Gera and Polya - received first degree diplomas of OKD (Obedience Course), and Rua Soleil Noble Taisa became the first "dancing" Leonberger (participating in dog dancing competitions). Leos of our breeding were going to many countries: Italy, Estonia, Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Ukraine, Canada, USA, Norway, France, Belgium.
Our first Russian Borzoi came from the kennel "Lunnaja Raduga" by Elena Balakireva. Being fond of equestrian sports, being the owner of horses and a lover of art, I always looked with admiration at borzois, as a living work of art, My busy lifestyle and work schedule did not allow me to realize my dream for a long time, but in 2017 I nevertheless decided to try, and we got Lunnaja Raduga Divnaya Mechta (Alba), whose name (translated as Marvelous Dream) speaks for itself. Over the next five yearsour borzoi family grew in number and currently they are five, including one of them already bred by usl. So, the present and future of Rua Soleil is going to be dedicated to with these two wonderful breeds.
For more than 20 years, thanks to our dogs, we have met people who have become our close friends and have been of great help in the development of Rua Soleil kennel: Tatiana and Dmitry Kasatkin, Svetlana Borodina and Dmitry Kerimov, Alexander and Kira Romanov, Maxim Petrukhin , Natalia and Alexander Gazganov, Julia and Karen Martirosyan., many other owners of our puppies who gave them love and care and chance to shine in the rings Together we were able to achieve these results and push the bar so high.
